Makoto Komori, Quality Manager

1. Understand the environmental impact of our operations, set environmental objectives within the possible technical and economic limits, and review these objectives periodically.
2. Comply with environmental laws and regulations and customer requirements, and strive to prevent pollution and protect the environment as appropriate.
3. To improve the environmental performance in our operations, we will actively work on the following items and make continuous improvements.
   • Reduce energy consumption per unit (reduction of 1% or more per year)
     (including promotion of energy conservation and reduction of CO2 emissions)
   • Reduce waste (promote recycling)
   • Manufacture environment-friendly products (review drawings and make suggestions for improvement)
4. Raise awareness through environmental education about contributing to the conservation of the global environment, including biodiversity and the efficient use of energy.
5. Communicate regularly with relevant government agencies and local communities, and contribute to activities to improve local environmental management.
6. Make this environmental policy known to all the employees, and make it available to the public as necessary.

Sinnya Tuchioka, Environmental Manager

Toku Pneumatic Tool Mfg. Co.,Ltd. has been actively working to obtain ISO certification, an international standard, as proof of our commitment to quality and environmental management for our businesses.

The Hirokawa Factory obtained ISO 9001 certification in 1997, the Minobaru Factory in 1999, and the Nakabaru and Kishima factories in 2001. The Head Office obtained ISO 14001 certification in 2002.

The integration of ISO 9001 certifications obtained by each factory was completed in 2022.
